Grenfell Tower

The warnings were there and nothing was done.

All actions have consequences, this was the consequence of deaf ears 😦

For years the people in Grenfell tower have raised concerns about the cladding and the safety of the building and only now, that a tragic event has occured, have ears started to unfolded and listen.

And they say ignorance is bliss.

These people deserve justice.

Thoughts to those who have been affected

Meanwhile back in Parliament…

So today Jeremy Corbyn got a Standing Ovation from his fellow party members and PM Teresa May had a few people stamping their feet for her with mostly an awkwardness in the air.

I was moved slgithly in Mrs May’s speech, but then Corbyn got savage – Check this out:

I was moved by his speech as well, which hit home to most points May covered and they seemed to agree and worry about some of the main things.

While May remained Sombre (With a cheeky comment at the beginning about the Landslide in the vote), Corbyn took a slightly lighter approach and tucked in to quite a few jokes, that given the shape of recent events, still made me laugh 🙂

Mrs May seemed to take it all in good faith as well, which was kinda nice to see actually 🙂

All Around the World…

Manchester, Cairo, Bangkok, Kabul,

London.

They just keep coming and coming.

These are not attacks, this is an assault.

This type of thing usually grabs a few lives, injures a few people and then goes away; resurfaces after a few months, years and deemed to be separate incidents.

This is different. It’s all part of the same thing, something much bigger is happening here I think.

This particular monster keeps rearing its ugly head in different areas all over the world. It never truly goes away, especially to those it has directly impacted, it stays with them always.

I mourn for those who have been taken and feel for the families and friends that have lost those they love because of these horrible events. Think of those who have been injured.

This might be frightening for you, and I am not trying to scare anybody.

You should already be scared.  Only an idiot or a fool wouldn’t be.

I don’t think a ‘This is it now’ thought process is going to happen here.

More like a ‘What is coming next?’
